CREATIVE DIRECTIVE

Amy Lewis is a business coach and sales mentor who provides mentorship via one-on-one sessions and small group online classes for creative entrepreneurs. She has created an online curriculum designed to help small business owners reach their financial and business goals. She was in need of an entire brand creation which included a selection of logo variations, icons, font selection and color palette. She came to me just before the launch of her masterclass series which required a rush creation of all her projects including the post ads for her class curriculum.

CREATIVE PROCESS

Understanding your target audience is such an important step when you are creating a brand identity. Soon after the initial discovery call with Amy, we got together and created her buyer persona - a fictional character which represents her current and desired target audience. Once I had a better understanding of who we were marketing to, I decided to create her logo based off of her written signature which I think helps portray her desire to really connect with the people she is helping. With careful consideration of her coaching style I created her brand style guide including the careful selection of fonts, colors and icons. I also created her online class campaign ads and her social media assets.
